Eyebrow Lift
Restore Your Youthful Appearance
What Is An Eyebrow Lift?
Due to lack of skin elasticity, years of UV damage, and continuous muscle contractions, the brow starts to sag lower on the face, and horizontal wrinkles are carved into the skin, giving the face an old, exhausted, angry, or anxious expression. By treating these flaws, a brow lift, also known as a “forehead lift” or a “browplasty,” may produce a much more rejuvenated, young, and appealing appearance.
What Does An Eyebrow Lift Treat?
At the Center for Eye and Facial Plastic Surgery, we use brow lifts to address a variety of skin concerns, and the outcomes of these procedures are almost always quite satisfying:
- An eyebrow lift may effectively elevate the eyebrows to a position that is more youthful on the face, giving the impression of a more renewed and youthful appearance to the face as a whole.
- An eyebrow lift may shape the eyebrows to have a more desirable or arched contour.
- An eyebrow lift can reduce the appearance of horizontal lines on the forehead as well as vertical lines in the forehead and between the brows.
- An eyebrow lift can reduce the look of wrinkles and creases that have developed between the brows and the lids.
- An eyebrow lift can better shape the upper eyelids and improve outcomes of upper blepharoplasty.
How Are Asymmetric Brows Treated?
Asymmetric eyebrows can be re-shaped with an eyebrow lift, allowing for a more symmetric forehead or upper eyelid contour. The droopy eyebrow is typically lifted more than the sister eyebrow, so that it is temporarily in a higher position. After the healing process is complete, the eyebrow shape becomes symmetric.

What Is Recovery Like?
After having a brow lift, patients may normally go back to work within seven to ten days at the most. After five to ten days, the sutures are removed, and after about four weeks, patients are able to resume their normal activities. The endoscopic brow lift causes very little bruising and swelling, and the resulting scars are so thin that they are almost impossible to see. Some patients also report decreased sensation in the scalp, however in most cases, patients regain their sensibility within the first few weeks after treatment. Hair loss is unlikely with the small incision and can be performed in men with receding hairlines as well as women.
How Long Do The Results From An Eyebrow Lift Last?
The brow lift does not put a complete halt to the body’s natural aging process, but it does provide results that are more aesthetically pleasing for a longer period of time. Brow lifts do not typically need to be repeated, but regular botulinum toxin injections (Botox, Xeomin) can help prevent further wrinkles in the face. In this case, a follow-up service at our clinic would be recommended in the future.
